The AC100 Toshiba Android “Mobile Internet Device” has been published today. Smart Books, Netbooks, believe that we, that the marks had been abandoned, but now Toshiba’s efforts here with a super thin. Read for more details.

toshiba ac100AC100 while Toshiba has a similar structure, 10.1-inch 1024 × 600 display for Acer Aspire One D250 with Android on board, is a slightly different proposal, which uses the Nvidia Tegra system on a chip instead of an Intel power. This means you do not need a fan, and therefore has the longest battery life, while large thin (21mm to 14mm candles) – similar to the prototype of the Asus Eee PC, we have seen in the last year, but this is really the one who leaves the United Kingdom.

In addition to the 1-GHz CPU, the AC100 flashy sports Toshiba 8GB flash memory, 512MB RAM, Bluetooth, 3G optional N-standard Wi-Fi and a tempting selection of interfaces, including USB, SD, Mini-USB (rare) and HDMI for connecting a flat screen TV. Battery life is quoted using to eight hours but seven great days of standby, weighs just 870g and everything.

Toshiba AC100 operating pending a customized version of Android 2.1, is seen with a Toshiba “Start Menu” of the skin with your own widgets and shortcuts, so that we can only hope for the production of 1.5 Nippies in Acer efforts.

We will know for sure when the Toshiba is available from August AC100 – but in the meantime, check out our hands on a sample of pre-production.
